two key objectives of the International Year of the Potato: to

interpretasi yang luas dalam kehidupan harian seperti persekitaran,
penjimatan dan penggunaan tenaga, makanan, ubat-ubatan, telekomunikasi,
pelabelan produk, harga barangan, keselamatan produk atau perkhidmatan
dan lain-lain. Hasil imej boleh dirakamkan secara perseorangan
atau berkumpulan dan haruslah mencerminkan aktiviti, perbuatan

Let us showcase your work! We invite
you to submit your favorite nature images to our 2008 photography
competition—our biggest
Photo Contest in 38 years. Cash prizes totaling $18,000 plus camera
equipment and other gifts will be awarded to the winners in three
separate divisions: professional, amateur and youth. The grand
prize winner will receive $5,000. Plus, a portfolio of award-winning
entries will be published in the 2008 December/January issue of
the magazine.
In return for your $15 entry fee, you will receive a one-year
membership in the National Wildlife Federation, including a subscription
to National Wildlife*, and you can submit as many as 20 images
in any combination of the following categories:

Enter the most prestigious competition for creativity in photography,
the 49th annual Communication Arts Photography Competition. Any photograph
first printed or produced between March 12, 2008 and March 6, 2009
is eligible. Selected by a nationally representative jury of distinguished
designers, art directors and photographers, the winning entries will
be published in the August 2009 Photography Annual. Over 70,000 copies
of the Photography Annual will be distributed worldwide, assuring
important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work. As a
service to art directors, designers and art buyers, a comprehensive
index will carry addresses and telephone numbers of the photographers
